The following bookmakers we recommend avoiding because of bad experiences we and other gamblers have had with in the past:
Gala Coral Group – These guys own Coral and Eurobet in the sports betting industry. These guys have a reputation of not paying out big winners. Our own experience is when they changed the odds of Arsenal beating Derby and keeping a clean sheet in April 2008 from 16/1 to 8/13. We placed this bet on the Thursday before and they didn’t notify us about the change until the day of the event (a Monday). And they even kept our money on it like we placed it as an 8/13 bet! These two reasons were more than enough for us to avoid them.
extrabet – One of us signed up with £10 with these guys and after placing our bets noticed an extra £10 in our account. We placed this bet and were then told we received it as a “technical error” and were then being told we owed them money!! One of our readers notified us of a similar event happening to them. Because of this and the rude customer support we received enquiring about this, we avoid them. We hope you don’t make the same mistake by signing up to them.
