Watford will be looking to continue their impressive form under Nigel Pearson when they travel to out-of-form Bournemouth on Sunday.
Victory for the Hornets would take them out of the relegation zone, at least prior to Aston Villa hosting Manchester City later in the day.
The Cherries have recently dropped into the bottom three, only one point above this weekend’s visitors. Eddie How has seen his side take just four points from their last nine in the Premier League, scoring just two goals in their last five.
Callum Wilson hasn’t scored in his last 13 Premier League outings, whilst Dominic Solanke, in for the injured Joshua King of late, has scored just once in his 49 Premier League career games. They have been hammered 4-0 at West Ham United and beaten 2-0 at Brighton & Hove Albion in their last two league games.
Nigel Pearson has taken 10 points from a possible 15 since taking charge of Watford, tightening up the defence and getting some production out of Troy Deeney and Ismaila Sarr up front. With moving out of the bottom three at stake in this game I cannot help but think they’ll be playing for the win instead of cautiously in this one.
