Leicester City will be looking to end their two-game losing streak when they travel to a woeful West Ham United sitting directly above the relegation zone on Saturday.
The Foxes remain second in the Premier League despite facing the two toughest teams in their last two matches; losing 3-1 at Manchester City and 4-0 at home to Liverpool.
The football gods have been kind to Brendan Rodgers’ side as they can end the year on a high with a trip to the capital. West Ham have lost nine of their last 12 matches in the Premier League and it must surely be only a matter of time before Manuel Pellegrini’s time is up in East London. They have conceded 2+ goals in each of those nine losses.
I think the players have already lost faith in the Chilean and Leicester will be looking to take the Hammers apart on Saturday.
Brendan Rodgers hasn’t done much squad rotation in recent weeks so it is possible that the Foxes may show some signs of fatigue. Alternatively, the likes of Marc Albrighton and Wes Morgan may get a start in this one.
As long as the visitors have Jamie Vardy starting then I expect the former England international to get among the goals on the way to a Leicester victory.
