Manchester United turned up on Boxing Day as they hammered Newcastle United 4-1 at Old Trafford.
Anthony Martial helped himself to a brace whilst Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood also got among the goals to boost the confidence of the Red Devils’ attack.
United travel to Turf Moor on Saturday to face a Burnley side who were beaten at Everton on Boxing Day. Sean Dyche’s side have now lost four of their last six Premier League games, including 4-1 at home by Manchester City and 5-0 at Tottenham Hotspur. What’s more, they’re really struggling in front of goal just to get shots in, scoring just three goals in their past six.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have lacked any real consistency this season so I do say back Manchester United with caution this weekend, particularly as they are odds on favourites away from home. However, the game is televised so you can watch and take in-play to make sure they’re turned up in Lancashire.
This is a real opportunity for Manchester Untied to continue their push for a top four finish and continue building their momentum to finish 2019 before they travel to Arsenal on New Year’s Day.
