Arsenal travel to Norwich City on Sunday after yet another disappointing result on Thursday night.
The Gunners blew a 1-0 lead at home to Eintracht Frankfurt to lose 2-1 in the Europa League. Regardless of the Premier League side already qualifying from the group, failure to hold onto the lead and win means they are now winless in six games in all competitions. Morale has to be at an all-time low under manager Unai Emery.
Failure to win at Carrow Road on Sunday could spell the end for the Spaniard, who appears to have lost the dressing room in North London.
The players don’t appear to be giving it their all for the boss, presumably having lost faith in their boss. They head into the weekend winless in their last five Premier League games too – losing both away games to nil during this run; at Sheffield United and Leicester City, whilst being held at home by Crystal Palace, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Southampton.
Yes, Norwich are in the relegation zone, but head into the weekend off the back of their 2-0 win at Watford last time time and not having played during the week. Daniel Farke’s side do like to attack and are good at it. I can see them breaching the Arsenal back four in this game on more than one occasion – enough to get a result at least.
Teemu Pukki is without a goal in his last eight Premier League appearances but don’t be surprised if he ends that duck this weekend, whilst Todd Cantwell is in decent form himself.
Best bet: Lay Arsenal at 1.81 with Betfair
