Chelsea head to Vicarage Road on Saturday looking to make it five successive away Premier League victories, whilst Watford are still searching for their first.
Frank Lampard has really got his side playing great football in the opposition half, and with Christian Pulisic’s hattrick, he has another goalscoring threat in his team.
The American joins Mason Mount and Willian in an attacking midfield trio that all look capable of scoring, and playing in support of Tammy Abraham. The young Englishman got off to an excellent start this season, though his goals have been drying up of late. Saturday should be a great chance to get his name on the scoresheet once again though.
Quique Sanchez Flores has guided Watford to three successive draws – at home to Sheffield United, away to out-of-form Tottenham Hotspur, and at home to Bournemouth last weekend. However, they are winless in all 10 Premier League games this season and have scored just once in their last five.
Although Chelsea’s defence is leaky, I simply expect the visitors to outscore their opponents in the televised game on Saturday evening. They have great momentum now and are looking to pull away from the sides chasing Champions League places.
Watford’s wait for a first Premier League victory this season will be extended by a further week as I cannot see anything but a Chelsea victory in this one.
