Arsenal ran out convincing 4-0 winners over Standard Liege at the Emirates Stadium in the Europa League on Thursday night.
The result leaves the Gunners on a maximum six points in the competition and Unai Emery has done it by largely rotating his squad.
A bonus from that is that the manager has been able to find out more about his players. Bukayo Saka was rewarded with his first Premier League start on Monday night and I expect the teenager to start this one too with Alexandre Lacazette still sidelined.
Gabriel Martinelli’s brace could see the 18-year-old striker get some Premier League time in the absence of Lacazette too. Hector Bellerin got some valuable game time under his belt, though it’s unlikely the Spaniard will do two games in a week after his lengthy layoff. However, Kieran Tierney should make his first Premier League start this weekend.
Bournemouth do head into the weekend in midtable but have had a favourable fixture list. Their two games versus top sides, Manchester City and Leicester City, ending in 3-1 defeats.
We should be in for an entertaining game in North London on Sunday and one that results in a home win. I can see a few goals in this game with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and co coming out on top.
