Tottenham Hotspur host Ajax in the first leg of the first Champions League semi-final at their new stadium on Tuesday night.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side upset the odds by beating fellow English Premier League side Manchester City in the quarter-finals on the away goals.
Ajax also caused an upset in the last round when they won 2-1 at Juventus in their second leg.
This should be an exciting tie that can go either way. Ajax are full of exciting players but will their lack of big game experience count against them in London?
As for Spurs, Harry Kane is injured and Heung-min Son is suspended, which means we’ll likely see Fernando Llorente up front and Vincent Janssen as the backup. Not good for the Premier League side when coming up against the highly-rated Matthijs de Ligt and Daley Blind.
Erik ten Hag’s side are on course fora domestic double but reaching the Champions League final would be their biggest accomplishment of the season if they can pull this one off.
With Donny van de Beek, David Neres, Dusan Tadic and Kasper Dolberg in attack, I am confident Ajax will get a result in North London on Tuesday night.
