Championship league leaders Norwich City play host to managerless Queens Park Rangers at Carrow Road in this Saturday’s lunchtime kickoff.
The visitors head to East Anglia with just one win in their last 15 league matches, losing 10 of their last 13.
Norwich City head into this weekend on a seven-game winning streak as they look to close in on both promotion and the title.
Teemu Pukki, Onel Hernandez, Emiliano Buendia and Kenny McLean, the Canaries have a lot of goals all over the pitch. They are supported by two of the division’s best full-backs too in Max Aarons and Jamal Lewis. On the bench there are often further threats that Daniel Farke with the likes of Jordan Rhodes and Moritz Leitner.
Overall, I think the league leaders are far too strong on paper for a Queens Park Rangers side that are starting to get sucked into a relegation battle. Steve McClaren was dismissed earlier in the week and his former assistant, John Eustace will take charge of this one.
I am surprised Norwich’s odds aren’t even shorter given the quality of the two sides and form they are both in. The game is on TV too for in-play betting but this should be the safest bet of the weekend pre-game.
