Saturday evening’s Championship clash comes from Elland Road as the top two go head-to-head when leaders Leeds United host Norwich City.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side came from behind at half-time against Rotherham United to pull off a late win last weekend to extend their lead at the top ot three points as Norwich were held 2-2 at home by Sheffield United who are directly below them in third place, three points behind.
Norwich City have come on strong since they were thrashed 3-0 at home by Leeds at the end of August. That was their third defeat in their opening five matches but they’ve only twice in 24 Championship outings since.
The Canaries are unbeaten in their last 12 on their travels (W6, D6) and only Sheffield United have been able to beat Daniel Farke’s side outside of Carrow road this season.
Only West Bromwich Albion (57) have scored more goals than Norwich (54) in their 29 games this season, whilst Leeds are the division’s third-highest scorers.
This should be a thrilling game that could turn out to be a high-scorer too in Yorkshire. We’re certainly expecting both teams to entertain as they look to continue their Premier League promotion push.
