Aston Villa will be looking to maintain their 100% winning start to the 2018-19 Championship season when they travel to Portman Road on Saturday.
Steve Bruce’s side were 3-1 winners at Hull City and 3-2 winners over Wigan Athletic despite conceding the opening goal in both games.
Arguably the strongest squad in the league, the Villans have already seen four different defenders on the scoresheet this season whilst striker Jonathan Kodjia is looking hungry. Midfielders Jack Grealish and Conor Hourihane are creating many of the opportunities.
Ipswich Town have made an uninspiring start to the season under manager Paul Hurst, held 2-2 at home by newly-promoted Blackburn Rovers and beaten 1-0 at relegation favourites Rotherham United.
I believe Aston Villa will have too much fire power for the Ipswich defence that haven’t kept a clean sheet this season and have made tough work of an easier set of fixtures. It’s not huge value on an away win but it’s still odds against.
