Manchester United will be looking to maintain their winning start to the 2018-19 Premier League season when they travel to the AMEX Stadium on Sunday.
Jose Mourinho’s side were 2-1 winners over Leicester City last Friday to kick off the new season and are expected to have more key players available this weekend.
Last season’s top scorer Romelu Lukaku got a second half run out in their opener and should be fit to start against Brighton & Hove Albion this weekend after missing pre-season. Ashley Young and Jesse Lingard could also be available to the Portuguese coach.
Meanwhile Brighton were convincingly beaten 2-0 at Watford on Saturday to start their new campaign. Chris Hughton’s side are generally well organised but don’t offer a great deal going forward.
Manchester United should be expected to win this one and if Paul Pogba can carry over his 2018 World Cup form like he did versus Leicester, and Alexis Sanchez and Juan Mata put in good performances down the wings, then you can expect chances, and ultimately, goals from the visitors.
The game is televised on Sunday for in-play betting but I think Manchester United are a safe bet going into the game.
