Premier League Betting Tips 4-5 April

Tottenham go to Swansea midweek and could do with Manchester City getting a result at Chelsea if Mauricio Pochettino’s side are to make the title race competitive in the final two months of the season.

Leicester City will be looking to continue their good run under Craig Shakespeare when they host relegation-threatened Sunderland at the King Power Stadium.

Here are this week’s Premiership Tips:

Leicester City vs Sunderland

Leicester City have won five in a row under Craig Shakespeare following the dismissal of Claudio Ranieri.  The caretaker manager has the players at his disposal to see off a Sunderland side who are looking dire under David Moyes.

The Foxes were 2-0 winners over Stoke City at the weekend and this will be Shakespeare’s fifth home match in six.

Sunderland’s defence are struggling to hold out the opposition whilst Jermain Defoe and the attack are struggling to find the back of the net.  A perfect combination for relegation.

This should be a comfortable victory for Leicester.

Swansea City vs Tottenham Hotspur

Swansea’s form under Paul Clement has died off following his first few games, and whilst Tottenham have a poor record on the rad this season they are on a good run at the moment and should be able to get a result in Wales.

Harry Kane, Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli are all playing well and should have the beating of a Swansea defence that has been leaking goals all season.

Tottenham’s defence itself has been solid all season whilst the Swans don’t have too many options in attack.

Chelsea vs Manchester City

Victory for Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday versus Manchester City would virtually see the Blues have one hand on the Premier League trophy.

Antonio Conte’s side head into the game as the favourites and in fine form.  City have had a few additional midweek games of late with their Champions League matches and defensively they have been vulnerable all season under Pep Guardiola.

Eden Hazard, Diego Costa and Pedro can all cause problems for the City defence whilst Chelsea have one of the best defences in the league to help null the likes of Sergio Aguero and David Silva.

Best bet: Chelsea to win is 2.38 with Betfair
