We take our momentum into the weekend after another 100% strike rate with our Premier League tips last weekend as Chelsea and Everton ran out comfortable winners, each at a nice price.
Antonio Conte’s side face a potentially tricky tie at Manchester United on Sunday. Before then, Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to close the gap in Saturday’s lunchtime kickoff versus Bournemouth.
Arsenal will be hoping to pick up another three points when they travel to Middlesbrough on Monday night football.
Here are this week’s Premiership Tips:
Crystal Palace vs Leicester City
After a slow start Sam Allardyce has turned things around at Crystal Palace, culminating in last Monday night’s 3-0 thrashing of Arsenal at Selhurst Park.
Palace are home for the second game in a row and face a Leicester City side who face Atletico Madrid in the Champions League midweek. You can expect Craig Shakespeare to play a number of fringe players in Southeast London this weekend before taking on the Spaniards.
With that in mind, the likes of Christian Benteke, Wilfried Zaha and Yohan Cabaye should have a successful game on Saturday. The Foxes shipped four goals at Everton last weekend following a ring of changes.
Middlesbrough vs Arsenal
Arsenal were humiliated at Crystal Palace last time out and surely now Arsene Wenger will be replaced in the summer once his contract expires. Before then, I expect Arsenal to hit back with three points on Monday night.
Wenger was outclassed by a tactical manager in Sam Allardyce last time out but Middlesbrough caretaker manager Steve Agnew has shown anything but tactical nous during his time in charge. Boro are heading for relegation and are barely scoring any goals in the process.
The odds aren’t great but the game’s on TV to take in-play if you like but I expect the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil, Danny Welbeck and co to open up the Middlesbrough defence.
