We went 3/3 again last week with Manchester City and Chelsea nice winners. The money has been rolling in this season and we hope you’ve been making a living off our tips too.
Arsenal and Tottenham experienced disappointing results in the Champions League midweek whilst Manchester United were at their best in the Europa League. Chelsea and Liverpool both got the week off and are expected to win this weekend.
Here are this week’s Premiership Tips:
Liverpool vs Sunderland
Liverpool were held 0-0 at Southampton but not for want of effort. The Reds dominated the game at St Mary’s so much that the hosts didn’t have a single shot on target. Roberto Firmino missed a sitter whilst Jurgen Klopp’s side were denied a couple of times by some great saves from Fraser Forster.
Sunderland may be on back-to-back wins but a trip to Anfield on Saturday will be a whole new ball game for David Moyes’ side. Papy Djilobodji’s suspension means we should see John O’Shea recalled to the starting lineup and with him in you can expect Roberto Firmino, Philippe Coutinho and Sadio Mane to have a field day.
A home victory is certain and it’s just a case of by how many.
Chelsea vs Tottenham Hotspur
Saturday’s evening game comes from Stamford Bridge where Chelsea are looking to extend their Premier League winning streak to seven games against a Tottenham side who are coming back from Monaco after being eliminated from the Champions League on Tuesday.
The Blues have looked like title favourites since Antonio Conte switched to a 3-4-3 formation, winning all six league games to nil. Thibaut Courtois has been protected relatively well whilst Eden Hazard, Diego Costa and Pedro are in great form right now.
Tottenham have issues in defence with Toby Alderweireld, Danny Rose and Ben Davies all out. We could see Jan Vertonghen move out to left-back. Going forward Heung-min Son’s goals have dried up and Christian Eriksen has had a quiet few weeks.
Chelsea are looking very good right now and I fully expect a home win in this one. A big win wouldn’t surprise me either.
